Dirk is a pirate under the command of Molstrom. He used to work alongside Alphonse, before Alphonse defected and joined Otus and Geddy.

Twig[]
Dirk used an unwitting Twig in order to further Molstrom's plans for the relics.
Alphonse[]
Before Alphonse's betrayal, the two seemed to have a decent working relationship. Afterwards, Dirk takes the betrayal as a personal slight and aggressively antagonizes Alphonse, even though the latter doesn't want to fight him. Dirk only admits he considered Alphonse a friend right before he dies.
Molstrom[]
Molstrom is Dirk's captain, and Dirk is extremely loyal to him. Molstrom has enough faith in Dirk's abilities to trust him with the very important task of retrieving the relics.
