The Owl Relics were created by the Ancient Owls. They were initially used to create the Hex Machine, and later reforged to create the Anti-Hex. They can be incredibly destructive in the wrong hands, as shown with Molstrom, but were intended to bring the islands back down to the surface of the planet.
